The Navigators Wheel Illustration represents a balanced Christian life. The Hub represents Christ the center of your life. Vertical spokes: communication with God; prayer is how we speak to God; the Word (Bible) is how God primarily speaks to us. Horizontal spokes: how Christians relate to others; fellowship spoke represents other believers; witnessing spoke, non-believers. The rim is where the rubber meets the road. If spokes are unequal your ride (life) will be rough. How's your balance?

Our Lord gave us the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20. In the book of John, we can see how Jesus made disciples. In John 1:35-51, we learn about six men: two men named John (John the Baptist and the Apostle John), two brothers (Andrew and Peter), and two friends (Philip and Nathanael).

When we receive Christ, we become children of God. The new birth is of God, not of ourselves. The Word became flesh, and did tabernacle among us. Jesus is unique, the Son of God, fully God and fully man. Just as God was with the Israelites, He is with us, and has promised to never desert us or forsake us.
